My role as Technical Editor of the scientific journal BSPI is to realise the graphic layout of the contents of the journal (three issues per year), to check the quality of the figures, to produce and correct the proofs of the papers in PDF format, to distribute the proofs to the authors and to keep the contacts with the typography.

In 2015 I was charged by the Editor-in-Chief (Prof. Annalisa Ferretti) to renew the graphic layout of the cover. For the BSPI I have also realised a new letterhead and the interactive modules in PDF format for the revision of the papers.

The cover image changes for every issue and it is selected among the figures present in the papers of each issue.

“The Bolca Fossil-Lagerstätten: A window into the Eocene World” is a 124 pages volume realised for the Rendiconti della Società Paleontologica Italiana. I have managed the graphic layout and impagination of the entire volume.

It is edited by six italian professors and researchers from different universities and it is written by 19 italian and international authors. The volume has more than 40 color figures and it represents the field guide for one of the most famous fossiliferous localities in Italy: the site of Bolca (Lessini Mountains, Veneto). The guide has been distributed to the partecipants of four international congresses (Climatic and Biotic Events of the Paleogene, 9th European Palaeobotany and Palynology Conference, XII Annual Meeting of the European Association of Vertebrate Palaeontologists, Taphos 2014) held in Italy (Ferrara, Padova and Torino) in the summer of 2014.

Among my numerous passions, photography and the realization of photographic books are among the leading ones. “Il Lungo Sentiero” (The Long Path) is one of them. But what is “Il Lungo Sentiero”? It is the story of a walk that started in the distant 1996 and continued until 2017. This book, through more than 320 images, each of them provided with title and caption, tells twenty years of story of a family, describing the stages of a mountain track that develops not only among mountains and nature, but it also goes through time and changes, emotions, feelings and memories.

In this book I told part of my story and of the story of my family. I did it with great passion. Let me tell also your stories. I will do it with the same passion I used for mine.
